Navjeevan Kendra at the Civil Hospital is a part of a larger project for drug de-addiction in district Kapurthala called Project
The Components of Project Navjeevan are:
  • Curative programme: Navjeevan Kendra Drug de- addiction
  • Preventive Programmes:
    1. Awareness Programmes: Social mobilisation against drugs through extensive awareness programmes in the entire district through Village Education Development committees in every village, panchayat leaders, schools, colleges and voluntary agencies
    2. Sports Programmes: Free Volley ball and sports Kits provided in 180 villages to encourage youth into active involvement in sports.
    3. Yoga & Meditation Programmes: Organised at various places through expert Voluntary agencies.
